How do I book a trailer?
Open any trailer on the fleet page, pick your dates in its online calendar, and book. You can call (615) 395-6559 any time you want help choosing a unit.
How much does it cost to rent a trailer?
Every trailer shows its live daily rate and open dates on its own page. Longer bookings earn a bigger discount, applied at booking.
Do you offer multi day booking?
We offer 1 day, multi day and multi week bookings. The longer you book, the more discount you get
Can I cancel or modify my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your reservation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time without any additional fees. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more details.
Towing And Insurance
Will my vehicle be able to tow the trailer?
Most modern 1/4 ton trucks are capable of towing around 10,000 pounds and all of our units are under that weight. You have to factor in the weight of your load aside from the weight of the trailer and confirm the towing capacity for your truck. We can help you figure out exactly what you can tow when booking
What size hitch do I need?
The car hauler uses a 2-5/16 inch coupler, so you need a matching 2-5/16 inch ball on your tow vehicle. Every unit page lists what that trailer needs.
Do I need insurance?
Yes, your automobile insurance should cover anything you tow. You would need to confirm with them before taking delivery.
Delivery And Pickup
Do you offer delivery and pickup for trailer rentals?
Yes. Local Trailer Rentals offers delivery and pickup within a 25-mile radius of Lebanon, Tennessee.
How much does delivery and pickup cost?
Fees are based on distance from our Lebanon location:
0 to 10 miles: $40
10 to 15 miles: $50
15 to 20 miles: $75
20 to 25 miles: $100
This fee covers both delivery and pickup of the trailer at your agreed-upon location.
Can I pick up and return the trailer myself instead?
Yes. Customer pickup and return from our location is available at no delivery or pickup charge.
What are your requirements for the delivery location?
You're responsible for providing a safe, legal, and accessible location. The site must have enough space for the trailer and tow vehicle to safely enter, position, and exit.
Can you refuse to deliver to a location?
Yes. We reserve the right to refuse delivery or pickup if a location is unsafe, inaccessible, or otherwise unsuitable.
How do I schedule delivery and pickup times?
Delivery and pickup times must be scheduled in advance. You're responsible for being available at the agreed time, or for providing clear instructions if unattended delivery/pickup has been approved beforehand.
What if I'm outside the 25-mile service area?
Delivery and pickup are generally limited to locations within 25 miles of Lebanon, Tennessee, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, so it's worth reaching out to check.
